This Detailed Crisis Plan allows you to come up with a plan ahead of time for when you may be in crisis. This is useful for individuals who are facing issues such as addiction, self-harm, and suicide.

For example, if you have suicidal thoughts, create a crisis plan for when you feel like you are close to acting upon those thoughts. Someone who is trying to stop self-harming can create a crisis plan for when they feel like they are going to hurt themselves.

The idea behind a crisis plan is so that you can quickly refer to it and take action immediately.

Fill in this Detailed Crisis Plan when you are feeling calm. Get your loved ones to help you with it if you can! Print it out and paste it somewhere, like on the refrigerator, or save it on your phone so that you can quickly refer to it.
